Meet The Team
Tanya Posavatz, CSEP
Tanya was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, and her event planning career started in the Washington DC diplomatic circuit, where she coordinated Embassy receptions and special events, rubbing elbows with Presidents and Prime Ministers. She then moved to Europe, where she got a “hands on” MBA working for a multinational financial services company.
Those experiences served her well when she moved back to the U.S. and launched and event company in 2002 There, she over saw the company’s finances, and contributes to new business development and strategic planning. She enjoys public speaking, and has spoken at local universities, community organizations, and multiple Special Event conferences.
Tanya, a Certified Special Event Professional (CSEP) since 2005, holds degrees in International Politics from Georgetown University and International Economics from Johns Hopkins University. She speaks five languages, and has lived in seven countries. She is a former Regional Vice President for the International Special Events Society (ISES) as well as a former president of the local chapter.
When not at work, Tanya spends time with her son Tomo or on her Kindle reading.
